A Temps is a free, independent app for buses (Moventis, TMB, AMB and Generalitat intercity buses), trains, metro, tram, the Montjuïc funicular and cable car, and Barcelona's Bicing. It is not an official app and is not affiliated with any of those companies.
This policy describes what the app's code actually does.
Only on the device, never sent to a server (except as described under "Alerts" and "Live Activity"), and removed when you uninstall the app:
Only if you allow it, and only to show the stops and stations near you. Your position never leaves the phone: it is compared there with the downloaded catalogue, and is neither sent nor stored. Without the permission, the rest of the app works the same.
The app gets timetables through our own server (Cloudflare Workers), which caches answers for a few seconds so operators aren't overloaded. It receives the stop, line or station number you look up and, if you choose one, the destination station. It receives no identifier of yours and we keep no logs of these requests. As with any internet connection, Cloudflare sees your connection's IP address in order to answer; we neither use nor keep it.
If our server is unavailable, the app asks moventis.es directly for bus times, which then receives the request from your phone.
Departure alerts on iPhone: local notifications scheduled by the phone itself. Nothing is sent.
Disruption alerts for your lines (iPhone and Android, only if you turn them on): our server stores an anonymous notification identifier for the device (the one Apple or Google Firebase assigns to the installation), the language and the lines you follow (such as "S1" or "R4"), with the date it was turned on. Nothing else: no location, no stops, no account. It is used only to send you new disruptions on those lines. It is deleted when you turn them off, when you uninstall the app (the identifier becomes invalid) or after 90 days if the app doesn't renew it (it does when opened).
Departure alerts on Android: only if you create a recurring alert, our database stores the notification identifier Google Firebase assigns to the installation and the alert's details (stop, line, destination, time, days and lead time), so you're alerted with the app closed. Firebase is not activated until then. Deleting the alert deletes the record; uninstalling makes the identifier invalid and it is removed.
Your daily train alert (A Temps+, iPhone and Android, only if you create one): our server stores the device's notification identifier (the one Apple or Google Firebase assigns to the installation), the language and the alert's details: the stop (and its name), the line, the destination if you choose one, the time, the days, the lead time and when to alert you; plus what you were already told that day, so it isn't repeated. Nothing else: no location, no account. It is used only to watch that train in the minutes before it leaves and tell you if it is late or cancelled. It is deleted when you remove the alert, or when the identifier becomes invalid (when you uninstall the app).
If you follow a trip on the Lock Screen or in the Dynamic Island, our server stores that activity's identifier (created by iOS for it alone) and the trip you follow (operator, line, train, the boarding and destination stops with their time, and the text the activity shows) to update the arrival time with real-time data. It is deleted when the trip or the activity ends. It includes no location.
The app collects no data that identifies anyone, of any age.
There is no profile to access or correct. The only data tied to a device are the notification identifiers described above, which you delete by turning your alerts off (or by ending the trip); if you'd rather we do it, write to us.
If this policy changes, this page and its date will be updated.
